Annual Ma Kelley Events - 2017

Turlock Golf and Country Club

Presented by MERCED HONDA

The Building Future Champions Dinner & Auction and the Ma Kelley Memorial Golf Tournament continue to make the dreams of UC Merced student athletes a reality. These events support UC Merced Athletics and celebrate the legacy of Georgette “Ma” Kelley, who was committed to her family, church and education.

Thanks to your generosity the events have awarded more than $330,000 to UC Merced Athletics since 2005.

UC Merced Athletics is in its sixth year in the California Pacific Conference and the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).

Dave Dravecky
Former Pitcher
San Francisco Giants
Dave Dravecky is a former pitcher for the San Francisco Giants. In 1988, he was diagnosed with cancer in his pitching arm. After battling cancer, surgery and being told by his doctors that he would probably never pitch again, Dave returned to the Giants one year later and won his first game back. But his comeback was short lived. Five days later he pitched again and broke his arm. The cancer had returned and the doctors were forced to amputate his arm. Dave retired from baseball and is now a motivational speaker. Hear Dave’s story about hope, courage, and perseverance.
