SPOTLIGHT: A.L.U.M. WKND

Coinciding with the annual Bobcat Day, A.L.U.M. WKND most recently brought together the largest number of alumni to date -- reinforcing why A.L.U.M. translates to "Always Love UC Merced." The weekend's festivities kicked-off on Friday night in downtown Merced with the L.Y.N.X. Social at the Merced Multicultural Arts Center. On Saturday, alumni gathered for a morning trek to the Merced Vernal Pools, followed by the Alumpics, Alumni Town Hall, Chancellor's Scholarship Signing Social and the 2nd Annual Alumni Party. Alumni prowled the Promenade on Sunday morning at the new Bobcat Diner to conclude a weekend filled with connecting to prospective students, current students, campus leaders and fellow alumni. All alumni are encouraged to save the date for next year's A.L.U.M. WKND -- April 20-22, 2018.
